Labourer - Radstock

We are looking for a hard-working, reliable and physically fit Labourer to join our team working within a Community Equipment Store.

This is a hands-on role where you will be carrying out a variety of general labouring duties, helping keep the store and working areas organised and ensuring materials and equipment are moved safely and efficiently.

You will be working alongside tradesmen and other members of the team, assisting with day-to-day tasks and making sure everything is in the right place when it is needed. The role will involve manual handling, moving materials and general site/store duties, so you will need to be comfortable with physical work and willing to get stuck in.

We are looking for someone who has a good attitude, takes pride in their work and can be relied upon to turn up on time every day. The successful candidate will be someone who works hard, follows instructions and is happy to support the wider team wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out general labouring duties within the Community Equipment Store
  • Moving and handling materials, equipment and other items
  • Loading and unloading materials when required
  • Assisting tradesmen with day-to-day tasks
  • Keeping work areas, stores and working areas clean and tidy
  • Organising and moving materials safely
  • Following instructions from supervisors and tradesmen
  • Supporting the wider team with general duties as required
  • Following all health & safety procedures

Requirements

MUST HAVE:

  • Valid CSCS Card
  • Previous labouring or construction experience preferred
  • Physically fit and capable of manual work
  • Hard-working and willing to get stuck in
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Good attitude and strong work ethic
  • Able to follow instructions
  • Able to work well as part of a team
  • Good awareness of health and safety

Working Pattern

Monday to Friday – 5 days per week

We are looking for someone dependable who will turn up on time, work hard and get the job done properly. If you're a reliable person with a positive attitude who isn't afraid of physical work, we would like to hear from you.

CSCS Card is essential. Candidates without a valid CSCS Card will not be considered.
